The purposes of the corporation are religious, educational, and charitable, including acting as the servant and legal person for the worldwide community of Christian persons known as Jehovah's Witnesses; publicly preaching from house to house and teaching the gospel of God's Kingdom under Jesus Christ to all nations as witnesses for the name, word, and sovereignty of the Almighty God, JEHOVAH (Matthew 24:14, 28:19,20; Psalm 83:18; Isaiah 43:10-12); printing, recording, and otherwise producing, and distributing Bibles in all media; disseminating biblical truths in various languages; writing, recording, and otherwise producing, and publishing and disseminating literature containing information and comments explaining biblical truths and prophecies concerning the establishment of Jehovah's Kingdom under Christ Jesus, in various languages (2 Timothy 3:16, 17); writing, recording, and otherwise producing, and publishing and disseminating music, art, and other intellectual property of a religious or educational nature in all media; improving men, women, and children intellectually and morally through Christian missionary work; teaching and instructing men, women, and children in the Bible and related subjects of science, history, and literature; founding and maintaining private Bible schools and auxiliary facilities to house and care for students of such schools and classes, so that men and women may be instructed free of charge in the Bible, biblical literature, and biblical history, and to prepare men and women for Christian missionary work; organizing and holding meetings for religious worship; maintaining one or more religious orders of special servants of Jehovah's Witnesses (2 Kings 2:3, 5; 6:1); offering humanitarian assistance to persons suffering from natural or man-made disasters or in need of help for other reasons; acquiring, owning, and using any interest in real and personal property, including dwellings and other facilities for missionaries throughout the world, including by gift, voluntary donation, inheritance, and bequest; and doing any and all other lawful things that its board of directors, in accordance with the spiritual guidance of the spiritual governing body of Jehovah's Witnesses, may deem fitting in accordance with these purposes.
