The purpose of the foundation is to organize, motivate and sponsor the design, development, maintenance and promotion of a range of common digital protocols for commodities that support the transition of the economy to digitalized, transparent and sustainable supply chains and trade, and to promote and sponsor the development of new business models and DApps on these protocols to further expand and facilitate an enabling ecosystem. To this end, the foundation may support and finance suitable research and development activities and projects, publicly promote common digital protocols and educate about them, issue, receive, use and store digital information units, contact various companies, partners, banks, regulators, authorities or other third parties for the benefit of the Watr ecosystem, expend received contributions, participate in companies, acquire, hold or grant trademark rights and other IP rights or license rights, organize conferences or other events that support and promote the Watr project, conduct and promote all business and/or participate in all transactions, and generally take all actions that are necessary, appropriate, related or desirable to achieve or promote the goals described herein. The foundation may also assign the fulfillment of its tasks to other organizations, create and/or promote existing ones. The foundation has no profit-making purpose and does not strive for profit. Within the scope of its purpose, the foundation may be active domestically and abroad.
