The association's goal is to promote research, education, and practical training in the field of security, as well as the related psychological and sociological disciplines, including the development of personal, social, and security-relevant competencies. The association's purpose is particularly realized through:
- Research in security technology and security behavior: Conducting, promoting, and publishing scientific investigations into security technology developments, human security behavior, and preventive measures for the protection of individuals, facilities, and systems.
- Psychological research and educational work: Analyzing and conveying psychological insights in the areas of behavior, emotions, learning, and personality, also with the aim of promoting self-reflection, self-awareness, and personal development.
- Sociological studies and projects: Investigating societal structures, social systems, group behavior, and social dynamics to understand their influence on security, prevention, and community development, and to implement practical concepts.
- Creating a personal development "workshop": Establishing and conducting offers, formats, and programs that provide men and women with the necessary tools to work on themselves, recognize their own patterns, develop personal strengths, and promote responsible, safe, and reflective action.
- Promoting personal development and self-competence: Implementing measures to improve individual and social competencies, with a particular focus on security, conflict prevention, emotional stability, and personal maturity.
- Conducting security training: Developing and conducting practical training programs to promote security-relevant and personal competencies for individuals, groups, and organizations.
- Security education and knowledge transfer: Planning and conducting training sessions, workshops, seminars, and further education for qualification in the security-relevant field; developing didactic materials and cooperating with educational institutions and research partners.
- Public relations and enlightenment: Promoting broad societal security awareness through information events, publications, lectures, and other forms of knowledge transfer.
The association aims to pass on the acquired knowledge to its members, as well as to interested non-members, through psychologists, trainers, further education, and the members' own experiences. Various programs should be developed that can be applied in practice, including economic aid in emergencies. Collaboration with international organizations that also strive for a conscious, healthy, and security-oriented way of life and work is desired. The association aims to support internationally through suitable practical measures of any kind. The association opens doors, builds bridges, and removes obstacles, particularly through publicity, lodge and lobby work, enlightenment, and consulting, but also through individual, personal consulting and promotion.
Within the framework of its purpose, the association can create facilities nationally and internationally, participate in other profit or non-profit institutions nationally and internationally, engage helpers, found organizations, or support them through donations.
