The foundation serves the following purposes: a) The foundation aims to provide permanent housing to elderly, disabled or invalid persons at affordable financial conditions. The beneficiaries must be in need of a low rent due to their income and assets and have their residence in Switzerland. To this end, the foundation can acquire, rent, lease, sell, build on and encumber properties and condominiums located in Switzerland that serve the purpose of the foundation, provide financing or grant rent subsidies in favor of the beneficiaries. b) The foundation promotes research and development in Swiss agriculture. It supports the development and deployment of innovative technologies that make agricultural production more efficient. Projects by farmers and institutions that make food production more sustainable, use new cultivation methods and/or develop food of animal origin without animal basis are supported. Furthermore, the foundation supports the education and training of young, needy farmers, especially in the field of agricultural and veterinary sciences, in order to manage their farm in accordance with the foundation's purpose. Only organizations and individuals with a (registered) seat in Switzerland are supported. c) The foundation has a non-profit character and does not pursue any commercial or self-help purposes.
