WEST & OST Research and Developmend Association

The purpose of the association is to analyze the social and political situation in Europe and Asia, particularly in the former CIS states and the Far East. To achieve this purpose, seminars and forums on democratic development and human rights are organized and conducted, and current reports on democratic development and the human rights situation in the respective countries are created. This includes analyses of legal progress in the relevant areas and exhibitions on the role of the UN, particularly in the field of human rights. Conflict analyses and the mediation/research of conflict resolution methods are also conducted. Furthermore, documentation for the media (magazines, newspapers, TV) is created. Finally, the association participates in intercultural and interfaith dialogue. Means: membership fees, contributions from international organizations, net income from events and similar occasions, donations from third parties and gifts.
