Comprehensive social welfare for employees of companies consolidated in the Swiss group of Schweizerhall Chemie AG, Basel, in Switzerland and abroad, as well as for their dependents and survivors, particularly in cases of old age, disability, illness, accident, death, and unemployment. Not entitled are individuals who were no longer employed by Schweizerhall Chemie AG as of December 31, 2005 (reference date), and who received an old-age or disability pension from the Swiss Federal Old-Age and Survivors' Insurance (AHV) or the Swiss Disability Insurance (IV) as of December 31, 2005 (reference date), as well as their dependents and survivors. In fulfillment of the foundation's purpose, the foundation may provide benefits to existing or yet-to-be-established employee benefit foundations of companies consolidated in the Swiss group of Schweizerhall AG, Basel, in Switzerland and abroad. The foundation board may use the foundation's assets in whole or in part to achieve the foundation's purpose.
