2.1 The purpose of the foundation is to provide for the economic consequences of old age, disability, and death for the benefit of the pensioners of the welfare fund of Oscar Weber AG, as well as the employees of Hof Maran Hotel AG and the pensioners of the pension fund of Hof Maran Hotel AG, and the dependents and survivors for whom the beneficiaries have demonstrably provided. The foundation may grant pensions or other benefits. Current pensioners continue to be beneficiaries of the foundation. Voluntary benefits are granted at the discretion of the foundation board, for which both the income from the foundation assets and the assets themselves can be used. 2.2 The purpose can be fulfilled, in particular, through (supplementary) occupational old-age, survivors', and disability benefits. Secondary purposes include supporting employees and their survivors in cases of hardship such as illness, accident, or unemployment, as well as providing voluntary purchase benefits for the regulated pension provision of employees.
