Wohlfahrtsstiftung der Basler Orchester-Gesellschaft

The purpose of the foundation is to support musicians, orchestra technicians, and other employees who were members of the orchestras of the Basler Orchester-Gesellschaft or its administration until September 30, 1988, employees of the Allgemeine Musikgesellschaft (formerly musicians), long-term orchestra members, as well as their relatives or survivors. In addition, the foundation supports the permanently engaged members of the Basler Sinfonie-Orchesters and the Radio-Sinfonieorchester Basel, or the symphony orchestra Basel resulting from the merger of these orchestras, starting from October 1, 1988. Finally, the foundation can grant contributions to active members of the Sinfonieorchester Basel for medically recognized and indicated measures to maintain health (prevention of occupation-related diseases) for which no other financing is possible, provided that the member in question is in a state of need.
