The cooperative aims to provide its members with a permanent supply of housing at affordable financial conditions through joint self-help and shared responsibility. It strives to offer housing to various generations. It promotes community living in the sense of overall social responsibility and mutual solidarity. It seeks to achieve this purpose through: a) Acquisition of building land and building rights. b) Construction and acquisition of single-family and multi-family homes that meet the cooperative's modern housing needs. c) Careful and ongoing maintenance and periodic renovation of existing buildings. d) Construction of replacement new buildings when existing buildings can no longer be renovated in an economically justifiable manner. e) Utilization of funding instruments under the federal housing promotion law and corresponding cantonal and communal laws. f) Rental of apartments on a cost-rent basis. g) Promotion of cooperative activities in the settlements. h) Ideological and material support for efforts aimed at affordable, healthy, and good housing. The cooperative's activities are non-profit and not profit-driven. The cooperative can participate in companies and organizations with the same or similar goals. It is a member of the Swiss Housing Cooperatives Association, Association of Non-Profit Housing Developers.
