The cooperative aims to provide its members with good and affordable housing through joint self-help and shared responsibility. It strives to offer spaces for all segments of the population, particularly singles, families, people with special needs, and the elderly. To achieve this goal, the cooperative: acquires building land and burdens it; builds and acquires single-family and multi-family homes that meet modern cooperative housing needs; maintains and periodically renovates existing buildings; constructs replacement new buildings when existing ones can no longer be renovated in an economically justifiable manner; utilizes funding instruments under the federal housing promotion law and corresponding cantonal and communal laws; manages and rents apartments based on cost rent. The cooperative's activities are non-profit and not driven by profit. The cooperative can participate in companies and organizations with similar or identical goals.
