The cooperative aims to satisfy the housing or commercial needs of its members through joint self-help and on a non-profit basis, and to facilitate the acquisition of housing or commercial property in the Dorfmatte Rubigen settlement. In particular, the cooperative aims to: plan and project individual construction phases on behalf of and for the account of landowners or future builders, or in its own name and on its own account; build individual construction phases on behalf of and for the account of builders, or in its own name and on its own account; plan, project, build, finance, operate and maintain common facilities, including land acquisition; manage buildings or take over management tasks in condominium relationships; perform settlement-related coordination tasks; promote settlement life; advise members on all settlement-specific issues; utilize and broker public housing promotion measures; ensure connection to municipal authorities.
