The cooperative aims to procure and maintain affordable housing and to build and acquire residential buildings or apartments, excluding any speculative intent. Furthermore, it pursues the purpose of promoting affordable housing construction in the sense of the federal housing promotion law, as well as corresponding cantonal and communal ordinances. The cooperative can acquire or sell properties and land, build, acquire, manage or rent houses. The houses and apartments of the cooperative can be sold if, due to special circumstances, they can no longer be rented sensibly under the statutory conditions in the long term. In the event of a sale, a sale to another non-profit housing provider has priority at the same offer.
