Wohnbaugenossenschaft Herdern (WBH)

The cooperative aims, through mutual self-help and co-responsibility, to procure and create healthy and affordable apartments and residential buildings for rent and sale. The cooperative is non-profit and non-profit-seeking, excluding any speculative intent. It particularly aims to promote housing construction in the sense of the federal Housing Promotion Act (WFG) and corresponding cantonal and municipal regulations. The cooperative promotes cooperative activities in the settlement. The cooperative can acquire, manage, and dispose of properties and participate in similar ventures. When selling real estate, the cooperative ensures that the buyer cannot engage in speculative transactions. To exclude speculation, it can reserve rights of co-determination in the sense of the WFG, pre-emption rights, and the like.
