The cooperative aims to provide its members with affordable housing and maintain it through joint self-help and shared responsibility. It strives to offer housing to all sections of the population, particularly families, people with disabilities, and the elderly. It promotes community living in the sense of overall social responsibility and mutual solidarity. To achieve this goal, the cooperative seeks to acquire land and building rights; build and acquire single-family and multi-family homes that meet modern cooperative housing needs; maintain and periodically renovate existing buildings; construct replacement new buildings when existing ones can no longer be renovated in an economically viable manner; utilize funding instruments under the federal housing promotion law and corresponding cantonal and communal laws; manage and rent apartments on a cost-rent basis; create apartments and single-family homes for sale in condominium ownership or building rights; promote cooperative activities in the settlements; provide ideological and material support to efforts aimed at affordable, good housing. The cooperative's activities are non-profit and not driven by profit. The cooperative can participate in companies and organizations with similar or identical goals.
