The cooperative aims to provide its members with affordable and healthy housing through joint self-help and to maintain it. It promotes coexistence in the sense of overall social responsibility and mutual solidarity. To the extent that the opportunity arises and the members of the cooperative have a need, the cooperative can also provide spaces for commerce and services. The extent of these spaces must be in a reasonable proportion to the living space. It seeks to achieve this purpose through: the acquisition of building land and building rights; the construction and acquisition of residential objects and properties that meet the modern cooperative housing needs; careful and ongoing maintenance and periodic renewal of existing buildings; renting out living and commercial space on a cost-rent basis to its members, and possibly to other natural or legal persons; ideal and material support for efforts aimed at affordable, healthy and good housing; promotion of communal living and housing forms, with housing taking precedence over commercial space in principle and avoiding under-occupation of living space; claiming funding instruments under the federal housing promotion law or corresponding cantonal and communal laws; promotion of cooperative activities; the communal supply of food and other daily necessities. The cooperative's activity is non-profit and not profit-oriented. Any speculation with land or houses is excluded. The cooperative can participate in companies and organizations with the same or similar objectives.
