The cooperative aims to provide its members with healthy and affordable housing through joint self-help and shared responsibility. It strives to offer housing to all sections of the population, particularly families, people with disabilities, and the elderly. It promotes community living in the sense of overall social responsibility and mutual solidarity. To achieve this purpose, it acquires land and building rights, builds and purchases multi-family homes that meet modern cooperative housing needs, maintains and periodically renovates existing buildings, manages and rents apartments on a cost-rent basis, and provides ideological and material support to efforts aimed at affordable, healthy, and good housing. The cooperative's activities are non-profit and not driven by profit. The cooperative can participate in companies and organizations with similar or identical goals. It is a member of the Swiss Association for Housing SVW.
