The cooperative aims to create affordable housing and commercial space for its members and other individuals. It promotes community-oriented and ecological living and housing forms, as well as the preservation of housing quality. The cooperative seeks to achieve its purpose by: building, acquiring, or renting suitable properties or residential units; renting housing and commercial space to its members, exceptionally to other individuals; and generally making housing and commercial space available with a view to promoting community-oriented living and housing forms. The cooperative operates on a non-profit basis. Any form of speculation with land and properties is excluded. The cooperative may participate in other similar companies and support efforts to promote cooperative ownership and community housing, and acquire membership in umbrella organizations of non-profit building cooperatives.
