Wohnbaugenossenschaft Oberhofen (WBGO)

The cooperative aims to provide affordable housing in the municipality of Oberhofen on a non-profit basis. It promotes affordable housing construction in accordance with the Federal Housing and Property Promotion Act (WEG) and corresponding cantonal or communal regulations. This purpose is achieved through: The construction of simple, functional apartments on its own land or on building rights properties, through the purchase of properties, through participation in associations with the same goals; the management and rental of apartments available to the cooperative; a complete equalization of rents within the same building phase, and an alignment of rents for all building phases, taking into account construction costs, equipment, and location of the apartments, etc.
