The cooperative aims to provide its members with affordable housing, commercial and industrial space through mutual self-help and to permanently remove these spaces from speculation. It promotes community-oriented and ecological forms of housing and living. It fosters coexistence in the sense of overall social responsibility and mutual solidarity. It seeks to achieve this purpose through: the acquisition of building land, building rights and properties; the careful and ongoing maintenance and periodic renovation of existing buildings; the active participation of members in the management of the cooperative and the maintenance of the buildings; avoiding underutilization of its housing space; renting apartments on a cost-rent basis; promoting cooperative activities in the surrounding neighborhood and in collaboration with other housing cooperatives; providing ideological and material support to efforts aimed at affordable, healthy and good housing. The cooperative's activities are non-profit and not driven by profit. The cooperative can participate in undertakings with similar or identical objectives and acquire membership in umbrella organizations of non-profit housing cooperatives.
