The cooperative aims to provide its members with permanent housing in the Kreuzlingen region at affordable financial conditions through joint self-help and shared responsibility. It strives to offer housing to all segments of the population, particularly families, people with disabilities, and the elderly. Priority is given to financially disadvantaged individuals, seniors, and people with disabilities. The cooperative promotes community living in the sense of overall social responsibility and mutual solidarity, as well as the mixing of residential and work areas. It seeks to achieve this purpose through: a) Acquisition of building land and building rights. b) Construction and acquisition of single-family and multi-family homes that meet the cooperative's current housing needs. c) Careful and ongoing maintenance and periodic renovation of existing buildings. d) Construction of replacement new buildings when existing buildings can no longer be renovated in an economically justifiable manner. e) Utilization of funding instruments under the federal housing promotion law or corresponding cantonal and communal laws. f) Rental of apartments based on cost rent. g) Creation of apartments and single-family homes for sale in condominium ownership or building rights. h) Promotion of cooperative activities in the settlements. i) Ideological and material support for efforts aimed at affordable, healthy, and good housing. The cooperative's activities are non-profit and not driven by profit. The cooperative can participate in companies and organizations with similar or identical goals.
