The cooperative aims to provide its members with healthy and affordable housing through joint self-help and shared responsibility. It strives to offer housing to all segments of the population, particularly families, and promotes community living in the sense of overall social responsibility and mutual solidarity. To achieve this goal, the cooperative: a) Acquires land and building rights. b) Builds and purchases single-family and multi-family homes that meet modern cooperative housing needs. c) Maintains and periodically renovates existing buildings with care. d) Constructs replacement new buildings when existing ones can no longer be renovated in an economically justifiable manner. e) Utilizes funding instruments according to the federal housing promotion law and corresponding cantonal and communal laws. f) Manages and rents apartments based on cost-rental principles. g) Develops apartments and single-family homes for sale in condominium ownership or building rights. h) Promotes cooperative activities in the settlements. i) Provides ideal and material support for efforts aimed at achieving affordable, healthy, and good housing. The cooperative's activities are non-profit and not driven by the pursuit of profit.
