Acquisition of affordable housing and construction and acquisition of residential buildings or apartments, excluding any speculative intent; specifically pursues the purpose of promoting affordable housing construction in the sense of the federal Housing and Property Promotion Act (WEG) and corresponding cantonal or communal ordinances; pursues its purpose through: acquisition of suitable building land for ownership or building rights of the cooperative; construction or acquisition of solid, purposeful apartments and single-family homes; support of efforts to improve living conditions, in particular a planned land and settlement policy; careful maintenance of buildings and apartments as well as their renewal according to the current state of technical and social progress; rental of apartments primarily to its members and at rents based on self-costs and taking into account the economic self-preservation of the cooperative; construction or acquisition of age- and disability-friendly apartments and single-family homes; connection with purpose-related organizations, insofar as this promotes the interests of the cooperative.
