The cooperative aims to provide its members with a permanent supply of housing at affordable financial conditions through joint self-help and shared responsibility. It strives to offer, enrich and complement housing for all sections of the population. It promotes coexistence in the sense of overall social responsibility and mutual solidarity. It seeks to achieve this purpose by: acquiring land and building rights; building and acquiring single-family and multi-family homes that meet modern cooperative housing needs; carefully maintaining and periodically renovating existing buildings; constructing replacement new buildings when existing buildings can no longer be renovated in an economically justifiable manner; utilizing funding instruments under the federal housing promotion law or corresponding cantonal and communal laws; renting apartments on a cost-rent basis.
