In joint self-help and co-responsibility, the cooperative aims to provide and maintain healthy and affordable housing for its members. The cooperative promotes community living in the sense of overall social responsibility and solidarity. It can buy or sell properties and land, rent and lease properties, acquire building rights, and develop properties and land. The apartments are managed and rented on a cost-rent basis. The cooperative's activities are non-profit, politically and denominationally neutral, and not aimed at making a profit.
