The cooperative pursues the purpose of creating and maintaining affordable housing and commercial space through joint self-help and co-responsibility. It aims to offer housing for all sections of the population (keyword: intergenerational living). It promotes coexistence in the sense of overall social responsibility and mutual solidarity. It seeks to achieve this purpose through: a) a responsible, tolerant, honest and open communication culture; b) the active resolution of conflicts in the sense of consensus-oriented coexistence; c) renting apartments on the basis of cost rent; d) acquisition of building land and building rights; e) construction and acquisition of single and multi-family houses that meet the modern cooperative housing needs; f) careful and ongoing maintenance and periodic renovation of existing buildings; g) construction of replacement new buildings when existing buildings can no longer be renovated in an economically justifiable manner; h) use of funding instruments according to the federal housing promotion law or corresponding cantonal and communal laws. Ideological and material support for efforts aimed at affordable, healthy and sustainable housing. The cooperative's activity is non-profit and not profit-oriented. The cooperative can participate in companies and organizations with the same or similar goals. It is a member of wohnbaugenossenschaften schweiz - association of non-profit housing developers (wbg schweiz).
