The RUNA cooperative aims to provide housing and living space for people who consciously choose to live in a communal setting and are inspired by the development of forward-looking forms of living. To achieve this purpose, the cooperative: a. Acquires properties, building land, and building rights b. Manages and rents out properties on a cost-rent basis c. Rents additional housing and living space d. Maintains and periodically renovates existing buildings e. Utilizes funding instruments under the federal housing promotion law and corresponding cantonal and communal laws f. Promotes and supports communal activities within RUNA. The cooperative's activities are non-profit and not driven by profit. Its properties and land are permanently withdrawn from any speculative use. The cooperative can also participate in other organizations and corporations that pursue the same purpose.
