The cooperative builds, rents and sells affordable housing, primarily to its members, with a preference for families with children. To this end, it can acquire, encumber and sell land. The cooperative maintains its buildings in good structural condition and renovates them periodically. The living space and the number of users should be in a reasonable proportion to each other. The cooperative can participate in companies with the same or similar objectives and acquire membership in umbrella organizations of non-profit building cooperatives.
