The cooperative aims to provide its members with communal, self-determined, and sustainable living and working spaces, and to maintain them. It promotes peaceful community living based on cooperation and trust. The cooperative promotes sustainability in the use of human and material resources. The community integrates people with special support needs (social-pedagogical, physical, or psychological). This gives everyone the opportunity to live in a vibrant, mixed community. The cooperative's activities are non-profit and not profit-oriented. The cooperative maintains its buildings in good condition and renovates them periodically. It can also acquire land, properties, and building rights. With ongoing, sustainable, cost- and quality-conscious maintenance, the cooperative adapts its buildings to the state of the art and to the contemporary cooperative housing needs, ensuring the preservation of the buildings' value. This also includes regular review of measures to increase the residential value of the properties and their surroundings. The rent must ensure long-term preservation of value and modern management and cooperative leadership (cost rent). The cooperative can participate in companies and organizations with similar or identical goals. It is a member of the umbrella organization of housing cooperatives in Switzerland.
