World Tamil Coordination Committee (WTCC)

The World Tamil Coordination Committee is active throughout Switzerland and represents the affairs and interests of Eelam Tamils, regardless of their nationality, at national and international levels. The association aims to promote the integration of Eelam Tamils into Swiss society. This includes, among other things, active cooperation with all ethnic groups in Switzerland; promoting education, Tamil identity, language, culture, and history to facilitate harmonious coexistence in a multicultural Switzerland; promoting the non-discriminatory participation of Eelam Tamils in public life in Switzerland; promoting the communal and democratic coexistence of Eelam Tamils in Switzerland; representing and safeguarding the interests of Eelam Tamils, particularly vis-à-vis national and international organizations and institutions as well as political parties in Switzerland; and promoting the presence of the Tamil diaspora at national and international levels.
