The cooperative aims to permanently cover the demand for housing at affordable financial conditions through joint self-help and co-responsibility. It strives to offer housing to all sections of the population, particularly to its members, as well as families, people with disabilities, and the elderly, by developing, building, and renting affordable housing. The cooperative promotes social mixing and community facilities to foster a sense of community and mutual solidarity. Additionally, it aims to combine living, working, and culture. It intends to achieve sustainable development by aligning itself with the goals of the 2000-watt society. This also applies to commercial spaces. To achieve this purpose, the cooperative: acquires and sells land (including building land) and building rights, as well as establishes and cancels easements; builds and acquires single-family and multi-family homes that meet modern cooperative housing needs; maintains and periodically renovates existing buildings; utilizes funding instruments according to federal, cantonal, and communal housing promotion laws; rents apartments at cost-based rent; builds and sells apartments and single-family homes in condominium ownership or building rights; promotes cooperative activities in the settlements; provides ideal and material support to initiatives that aim to provide affordable, healthy, and good housing. The cooperative's activities are non-profit and not driven by the pursuit of profit. The cooperative can participate in companies and organizations with similar or identical goals.
