Research and development in the field of production of equipment, devices, and components for low-impact vehicles and the use of innovative and/or alternative fuels, and research, development in the field of advanced technologies for the realization of any other innovative project; research and technological innovation in the field of technologies applicable to means of transport of any kind and energy production systems, to improve their efficiency, emissions, reliability, safety, service quality, and reduce their environmental impact; collaborations and joint ventures with vehicle manufacturers and related components and transport systems, collaborations and joint ventures for the production of fuels with innovative systems, from renewable sources, with reformulation of traditional fuels, for their commercialization, storage, transport, the purchase or management of refueling stations, etc.; research and technological innovation in the field of technologies applicable for the production and distribution of energy, to improve their efficiency, reliability, safety, and service quality; the provision of consulting services for the organization and management of private and public transport, for the use of innovative vehicles and technologies, the production and use of fuels from renewable sources; international collaborations and joint ventures for the realization of innovative projects for the research and development of the above-mentioned technologies, with the acquisition of national and international funding; the provision of training services for the qualification of personnel responsible for the use, maintenance, and management of vehicles, technologies, plants, and fuels referred to in the previous points; the promotion and organization of training and technological and professional updating courses, participating in or organizing conferences, congresses, educational trips, and any other similar activity, including the establishment of training centers referred to in the previous points; acquiring representations and distribution rights of products and services; carrying out marketing operations, organizing or participating in events, even sporting ones, to promote the above-mentioned technologies. The company may also develop, purchase, sell, receive for use, and grant the use of technologies, technical know-how, industrial patents, and industrial property rights in general, as well as carry out commercial, financial, and investment operations of any kind both on its own and in a fiduciary capacity. The company may also purchase, encumber, manage, administer, and sell real estate in Switzerland and abroad, as well as participate in real estate, commercial, or other companies, including financial and investment companies in any form, with headquarters and/or activities in Switzerland and abroad and hold corporate shares. Real estate in Switzerland or participations in real estate companies with real estate in Switzerland can, however, be acquired (without LAFE subjection procedure) only on the condition that the properties are intended for the exercise of an economic activity pursuant to art. 2 para. 2 lit. a) LAFE.
