The company's purpose is to acquire and hold direct, indirect or financial instrument-mediated minority or majority interests in other companies in Switzerland and abroad, to finance affiliated companies and to carry out placements and investments, provided that the participation in companies holding real estate in Switzerland is only entered into if these properties are used exclusively for commercial purposes (business premises). The company may also conduct all business that is suitable to promote or facilitate the development of the company and the achievement of its purpose, such as opening branches in Switzerland and abroad, participating in other companies of a similar nature in Switzerland and abroad, and acquiring, selling, managing and pledging real estate (in Switzerland only real estate serving exclusively commercial purposes).
