The association is politically and denominationally neutral and does not pursue any commercial or economic goals. The association has a non-profit character and does not pursue any profit-making purpose. The association aims to promote exemplary musical achievements and works from classical music through: training and promotion of young talent; promotion of the level of training and career opportunities for young artists of classical music; organization and implementation of seminars, workshops, festivals, competitions, and concerts. The association organizes at least one Swiss International Music Academy (SIMA) with masterclasses and concerts per year. Any surpluses are used exclusively for the promotion of young talent in accordance with Art. 2; international exchange of experience; mediation of young artists, jurors, and lecturers; development of a platform for joint cooperation with music schools, professional orchestras, companies, associations, and the public. The trademark rights associated with the designation YOUTH CLASSICS are protected by trademark law throughout Switzerland and Europe.
