The foundation aims to support innovative ideas and projects in Switzerland that ultimately serve the public and the environment. It can promote projects for improving the efficient use of resources, the development of new alternative energies and means of transport, as well as the invention and (further) development of everyday objects by tinkerers or small businesses in tight financial circumstances. It can also support innovative employment programs for people in special life situations. The foundation can grant start-up assistance to individuals, small entrepreneurs, institutions, and independent groups, support applied pilot projects with contributions, and offer prizes for outstanding achievements and inventions. (e.g., innovation prizes for inventors and tinkerers, environmental prize, etc.) The foundation's area of activity is in Switzerland. The foundation does not pursue any commercial or self-help purposes. It does not pursue commercial purposes and does not aim to make a profit.
