The purpose of the foundation is to promote and support non-profit organizations and corresponding projects of any kind, particularly (but not exclusively) in the following areas of activity: health, sports, nature, ecology, social affairs, art, culture, education, science, and research. The foundation may use modern methods of promotion, provided they do not jeopardize its tax-exempt status. The foundation may serve as an umbrella foundation for sub-foundations with their own non-profit purpose. The foundation's promotional activities focus on projects in the canton of Zurich, but are not geographically limited. The foundation does not pursue any commercial purposes and is politically and denominationally neutral. Within the scope of its purpose and, if necessary, in consultation with the supervisory authority, the foundation may take all measures, in particular establish other legal entities, merge with other foundations, take over the assets of other legal entities, or cooperate with other legal entities.
