The donated assets are dedicated to the purpose of providing support to needy, married, male or female descendants of the late Mr. A. Hürlimann-Müller, who passed away on March 23, 1888, in Zurich, to facilitate their livelihood and to educate and train their children, and so on. However, only the following persons are eligible as beneficiaries: All married descendants of the late Mr. A. Hürlimann-Müller who bear the name Hürlimann due to their descent from him. Also, the wives, widows, and married daughters of such individuals, even if they take on a foreign name through marriage, as well as their married children and grandchildren. The eligibility of the respective family branch ends with the latter. Example: The grandchildren of Mrs. B. Niggli-Hürlimann are still entitled to the foundation's assets, but their great-grandchildren are no longer entitled.
