The Association aims to: promote and stimulate young adults to become entrepreneurs in the fields of agriculture and agri-food in developing countries (agripreneurs); support the development of the rural ecosystem by focusing on food systems; encourage new and innovative approaches in local systems, taking into account climate change, conflicts, and malnutrition; contribute to local and global food security. The activities are focused on East Africa (Uganda, Kenya, Somaliland, Malawi, Rwanda). The mission and objectives of the association are achieved by deploying educational resources, specifically training courses leading to a solid Business Plan. Young agripreneurs are accompanied in the development of their businesses by direct support (mentoring, networking, organization of training courses and specific internships). The activities are developed in the Universities and Agricultural Institutes of East Africa, such as Gulu University Uganda, International Institute of Tropical Agriculture Uganda, Makerere University Uganda, Egerton University Kenya, Laikipia University Kenya, and IGAD Sheikh Technical Veterinary School, Somaliland (and in the future, Universities/Institutes in Malawi and Rwanda). The beneficiaries are the students of these Universities/Institutes.
