The foundation's purpose is to: promote and develop ice hockey throughout the Vaud region among young people, provide a platform for information on the foundation's activities and the promotion of ice hockey, develop synergies with public authorities (notably the City of Lausanne and the Canton of Vaud), municipalities and existing sports associations, encourage children at the popular level to practice ice sports with pleasure and promote the creation of new community outdoor ice rinks, advise, assist and create ice hockey programs on these community outdoor ice rinks, professionally frame young competitive talents from ice hockey, and support junior movements to improve communication, coordination and team management, with the goal of ensuring that each player can evolve in a team that corresponds to their level of play and ambitions, motivate at the professional team level all young people from the Canton of Vaud to practice ice hockey at a high level and enable them to develop their potential, with the prospect of being able to play for the first team, offer young talents a high-level sports-study program in close collaboration with public authorities, organize conferences for players and their parents on the themes of nutrition, the importance of studies, the dangers of drug consumption, physical and psychological preparation, encourage physical activity and the adoption of a healthy lifestyle among disadvantaged young people, support sick, hospitalized and disadvantaged children through hospital visits and the organization of events with LHC players, support all non-profit organizations related to the Lausanne Hockey Club Group SA, organize all charitable events related to the Lausanne Hockey Club Group SA.
