The purpose of the company is: planning, construction, development, building, conversion, equipment, retrofitting, maintenance and repair of ships and boats of all kinds, in particular high-speed catamarans, foil-assisted units, hydrofoils, passenger and/or cargo ships for inland and maritime routes as well as floating platforms and similar structures; marketing, sale, rental, leasing, management and brokerage of such watercraft and structures as well as import-export, representation, brokerage and distribution of products, components, systems and technologies related to the shipping, maritime and transport sector; technical, engineering, organizational and business management consulting, project management and support for the construction, conversion and operation of ships, port infrastructures and related structures, including feasibility studies, preliminary studies, cost-benefit analyses and support for relations with shipyards, shipping companies, public and private entities; carrying out studies, projects and services in the fields of strategic and operational marketing, communication, sales promotion, brand development and market positioning in the fields of shipping, tourism and public transport, also on behalf of third parties; carrying out inspections, checks, acceptance tests, technical and quality controls, audits and assessments of structures, plants, systems and mechanical, electrical, electronic and automated components on board ships and on land, also with regard to technical standards, safety regulations, environmental standards and requirements of certification and classification bodies; research and development (R&D) of new technical solutions, materials, traditional, hybrid and electric propulsion systems, solutions for increasing energy efficiency and reducing environmental impact as well as development of prototypes, acquisition, deposit, management and exploitation of patents, trademarks, know-how and other intellectual and industrial property rights; training and further education as well as technical and business management training of seafarers, shipyard personnel, maintenance technicians and specialists active in the fields of shipping, industry and transport, also through courses, workshops, seminars and advisory activities in the educational field; management, also within the framework of assignments or subcontracts, of services related to the transport of passengers and/or goods by waterway, including the organization of line services, tourist services and charter services, in compliance with the legally provided authorizations and concessions; participation in other companies or enterprises at home and abroad pursuing similar, related or connected purposes, as well as the assumption of representation, consulting and coordination mandates for corporate groups active in the same sectors. The company may establish branches and subsidiaries abroad, assume representations as well as enter into all transactions and conclude contracts that may be suitable for promoting the purpose of the company; or that are directly or directly related thereto. It may also provide financing for its own or third-party account as well as guarantees, sureties and pledges for affiliated enterprises and third parties. It may acquire, lease, rent, manage, encumber and dispose of real estate at home and abroad. The company may acquire, hold, manage or sell any kind of debt or securities, within Switzerland or abroad.
