The association aims to promote the exchange, usability and cooperation between civil society, research, education, industry and the technology and startup scene in the field of artificial intelligence (AI). It serves as a neutral platform to strengthen a globally active, sustainable, secure and fair AI ecosystem that promotes the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations. The goal is to capture current developments, promote the ability to use AI in a sustainable, secure and ethical manner, and improve the common good. The purpose is primarily achieved through the organization of events and dialogues with various stakeholders from a regional and international environment. The annual main event took place for the first time in January 2024 in Davos (Graubünden, Switzerland) and is intended to remain the central hub for AI progress in the future. Locally anchored and integrated into the regional ecosystem, the activities of the AI House aim for a global impact. Furthermore, the association aims to create and publish content on the topic mentioned above. The association is exclusively non-profit and does not pursue economic and commercial purposes or strive for profit. It is also politically and denominationally neutral. No person may be favored by expenses that are foreign to the purpose of the association or by disproportionately high remuneration.
