The foundation aims to promote all cultural endeavors in the city of Chur, in particular the co-financing of cultural works, cultural performances, etc., to the extent that the resources of other foundations, the municipality or the canton are insufficient (cultural fund). The financial support of needy and distressed persons through the Evangelical Reformed and the Roman Catholic State Church of Grisons (social fund). If such use is not possible in individual years, the annual returns can be capitalized and allocated to a cultural purpose at a later date.
