The purpose of the foundation is to promote child and youth education, child and youth welfare, elderly care, medical and alternative medical care and research institutions, as well as cultural institutions. Individuals and projects are supported and promoted regardless of their origin. The purpose of the foundation is to be fulfilled primarily in the canton of Zurich. The purpose of the foundation is realized in particular through the following measures: grants to non-profit institutions for child and youth education and care, grants to non-profit institutions for elderly care and hospice movement, grants to non-profit medical and alternative medical care and research institutions, and grants to non-profit cultural institutions. The recipients of these grants must also be non-profit and tax-exempt individuals or institutions within the meaning of the section on tax-privileged purposes of the Tax Code (or the corresponding Swiss regulations). The foundation thus pursues exclusively and directly non-profit purposes within the meaning of the section on tax-privileged purposes of the Tax Code (or the corresponding Swiss regulations). The foundation may also provide financial and material resources to other tax-exempt non-profit organizations, institutions, foundations, or a suitable public authority, if these bodies use the resources to promote measures in accordance with paragraphs 1 and 2.
