The foundation primarily aims to provide preventive and supportive care against the economic consequences of old age, disability, death, as well as to support the beneficiary or their dependents in cases of need such as illness, accident, disability, or unemployment. By decision of the foundation board, the foundation may also be joined by the personnel of companies that are economically or financially closely linked to the company, provided that the necessary funds are made available to the foundation and the rights of the existing beneficiaries are not impaired, through a written accession agreement that must be notified to the supervisory authority.
