The company's purpose is to carry out, both in Switzerland and abroad, all operations directly or indirectly related to the acquisition of assets or third-party interests, the acquisition of participations in any form, in any company, as well as the administration, management, control and development of these assets, securities or participations, in Switzerland and abroad, excluding operations prohibited by the Federal Law on the Acquisition of Real Estate by Foreigners (LFAIE). The Company may, in particular, use its funds to create, manage, develop and liquidate a portfolio consisting of all securities and intellectual property rights of any origin, and participate in the creation, development and control of any company. It may also acquire, by way of contribution, subscription, firm commitment or option to purchase and in any other manner, all securities and intellectual property rights, have them developed and realized by way of sale, assignment, exchange or otherwise. The company may hold participations in other companies, and acquire, operate, manage and sell real estate, excluding operations prohibited by the Federal Law on the Acquisition of Real Estate by Foreigners (LFAIE), establish branches and subsidiaries in Switzerland and abroad, engage in any financial, commercial or industrial activity, whether movable or immovable, directly or indirectly related to its purpose or likely to promote its development or that of the group companies. Furthermore, the company may participate directly or indirectly in financial transactions within the group, in particular by granting loans to direct or indirect shareholders or to other group companies or by granting guarantees, sureties or other securities of any kind for their liability towards third parties, even if these loans or securities are in the exclusive interest of direct or indirect shareholders or other group companies and are granted free of charge.
