The non-profit foundation aims to operate a retirement community at Venusstrasse 28 in Zurich-Oerlikon. Admission is granted to independent, non-care-dependent individuals over 60 years of age, primarily those of Christian faith (Protestant-Reformed or ecumenically oriented). Priority is given to individuals residing in the Oerlikon district, followed by those residing in the city of Zurich. If the apartments cannot be occupied in this manner, the foundation board may also admit individuals with other residences, disabilities, or under 60 years of age. The retirement community is primarily open to individuals with modest financial means. The foundation board may specify the requirements for tenants in a regulation. The use of the apartments and the cohabitation of tenants are governed by a house rules. The foundation may purchase, sell, acquire, or rent properties to fulfill its purpose. The foundation does not pursue profit or self-help purposes. The foundation follows the guidelines of the Federal Act on the Promotion of Affordable Housing (Housing Promotion Act, WFG) of March 21, 2003.
