The Amanah Foundation promotes community cohesion and makes a meaningful contribution to society and a sustainable environment. The foundation pursues a multi-faceted approach to strengthen social well-being and community fabric, as well as improve the quality of life of people in a range of areas such as education, healthcare, housing, economic empowerment, spiritual, ethical and cultural values, youth development and elderly care. The foundation board can set priorities for the pursuit of its purpose and freely decide on the allocation of foundation funds and distributions. The foundation can also cooperate with other organizations to fulfill its tasks and promote them. The foundation can operate throughout Switzerland to fulfill its purpose. To a lesser extent, the foundation can also support projects abroad. The foundation has no commercial purpose and does not strive for profit.
