The association aims to help, connect, involve, unite, love and inform all people who live with cancer or other diseases, whether personally or as friends and relatives of a sick person, those who are facing death and those who have lost a family member, a child, a friend, an acquaintance or who have simply been touched by the disease and feel the need to be part of a family, a community, and to be with other people who experience unique but similar situations. It should be emphasized that this is not an association against cancer: it does not fight, it does not combat, it does not strive, but rather creates a liberating space where one tries to embrace and love one's condition in the face of illness and what the illness itself brings. The goal is to change the way illness is viewed, to remove prejudices and understand fears related to death, to unite and get to know people and ways of dealing with the situation, and to express through one's creative, artistic and human side the emotions, difficulties, fears, lessons, joys and everything that illness, one's own and that of others, triggers in us. The intention is to make those who are in contact with the sick and those who are sick themselves feel less alone, less guilty, freer and more at peace, and to provide advice and tools to help those who are struggling and have found the courage to ask for help. Of course, it is not limited to cancer, but is open to all situations of discomfort caused by diseases: everyone is more than welcome. The association is non-profit, apolitical, non-denominational and has an unlimited duration.
