The foundation pursues the following objectives: 1.) Ensuring the preservation, maintenance, and profitability of VASARI AG (CHE 316.906.333). 2.) If resources are available: The foundation aims to promote, preserve, and disseminate art and culture in all their forms, notably: a. Promoting contemporary artistic creation by supporting artists, curators, and cultural projects. b. Stimulating research programs, residencies, scholarships, awards, and training initiatives to support young and emerging artists. c. Organizing, producing, and promoting exhibitions, publications, all types of cultural events, fairs, festivals, concerts, shows, audiovisual screenings, installations, public space interventions, cultural venue management, and educational activities related to any form of artistic expression, including visual arts, fine arts, photography, sculpture, architecture, design, applied arts, digital and multimedia arts, virtual and augmented reality, performance, performing arts, music in all its forms, dance, literature, poetry, cinema, video, creative new technologies, and hybrid or experimental practices, whether open to the general public or intended for sector professionals, academic institutions, specialized groups, or local communities. These activities can be carried out in physical, digital, or hybrid form, in own or external spaces, public or private venues, or virtual platforms, and may include conferences, round tables, seminars, workshops, educational programs, printed or digital publications, catalogs, special editions, and any other format aimed at dissemination, training, exchange, and promotion of art and culture in all their contemporary and traditional forms. d. Preserving, managing, and enhancing art collections, whether owned or on deposit, and promoting their accessibility to the public. e. Collaborating with cultural institutions, museums, universities, foundations, and public or private entities for the development of artistic and cultural projects. f. Supporting socially impactful initiatives through art, including community programs, inclusive activities, cultural mediation, and social action. g. Promoting research, documentation, and digitization of artistic heritage, as well as technological innovation applied to art. h. Promoting projects that use artistic creation as a tool for community transformation, social inclusion, cultural mediation, and strengthening social fabric. This includes programs for vulnerable groups, intercultural integration activities, participatory projects in public spaces, collaborative creative processes, socially oriented educational activities, and awareness initiatives that promote equal opportunities and social cohesion. i. Developing and supporting initiatives that connect art and the environment, such as cultural sustainability projects, artistic practices related to nature preservation, environmental education programs through art, artistic interventions raising ecological awareness, eco-art research, and creative proposals contributing to the protection of natural heritage and the dissemination of values related to sustainability, climate, and responsible development. j. Professionalizing the tertiary sector by strengthening the capacities of civil society organizations through training, consulting services, and support in key areas for their viability, such as strategic management, institutional governance, transparency, impact assessment, communication, and particularly, fundraising strategies and resource mobilization. The foundation can design and implement training programs, workshops, consulting services, professional meetings, and methodological tools that enhance the effectiveness, autonomy, and viability of non-profit entities, associations, foundations, and community projects, supporting their professionalization and long-term social impact generation. k. Encouraging cultural patronage and philanthropy by channeling donations and resources destined for artistic creation and dissemination. l. These activities can be carried out in collaboration with public or private entities, social organizations, cultural institutions, educational centers, artistic collectives, and local communities, both nationally and internationally. The foundation may undertake all necessary or appropriate activities to achieve these objectives, in accordance with the applicable regulations. As part of its mission, the foundation allocates all necessary income and resources for the conservation and normal development of its heritage, in accordance with the spirit and traditions of the founder. The foundation may carry out any operation directly or indirectly related to its purpose. The founder reserves the right to modify the purpose and/or organization of the foundation, in accordance with Article 86a of the Civil Code.
