The foundation aims to promote the common good on a non-profit basis, primarily in Switzerland. In pursuit of its principal purpose, the foundation can undertake activities itself or support other institutions or individuals. With a focus on relevance, sustainability, and quality, the foundation implements and supports projects in areas that receive little or no state or private assistance. To maximize the impact of its resources, the foundation has set the following thematic priorities: a) Social: Contributions to institutions and projects aimed at improving the living conditions and development opportunities for children, adolescents, and adults with mental and/or physical disabilities or chronic illnesses, protecting them from social isolation and exclusion, and enabling them to live with dignity and as much independence as possible. This is primarily achieved through operating its own therapy center, offering recognized forms of therapeutic riding under professional guidance, as well as through activating daily routines, protecting and promoting their right to self-determination, relieving family members, and training caregivers. b) Environment: Contributions to institutions and projects aimed at protecting natural habitats, the lives, and well-being of species, and promoting respectful interaction with ecosystems, considering their limited capacity. This ensures that future generations can also live with and in nature. The foundation focuses on renaturation, restoration, landscape protection, spatial development, expansion, networking, and enhancement of ecosystems, species promotion and protection, protection of animals in human care and free-living animals in their habitats, as well as sensitization and educational offerings in and with nature. c) Cultural Space: Contributions to institutions and projects aimed at promoting cultural life and protecting, revitalizing, developing, and making accessible culturally and historically valuable landscapes, settlements, buildings, and gardens in their uniqueness, diversity, and beauty, thereby maintaining the dialogue between nature and culture. This is primarily achieved through the protection, preservation, connection, and opening of cultural spaces, sites, and buildings, as well as sensitization and educational offerings about the testimonies of past cultures and traditions. The foundation does not pursue commercial purposes and does not aim to make a profit.
