By 'transition' is meant any evolution of agricultural systems and practices implemented on farms aimed at strengthening the positive impact of agriculture on ecosystem services. This transition is carried out to address the planetary challenges imposed by climate change and the preservation of resources. The association's objectives include: 1. Establishing economic tools and mechanisms to support and accelerate the transition of Swiss agriculture. This involves adapting to future climate change, reducing greenhouse gas emissions related to its activity, and increasing the capture of atmospheric carbon dioxide while improving biodiversity and other environmental, economic, or social factors. 2. Creating a neutral exchange and collaboration space, promoting the sharing of ideas and expertise among stakeholders in the agricultural sector. 3. Bringing together agricultural actors to collectively design and implement innovative solutions to address the challenges of climate change and its effects. 4. Operational implementation of concrete and pragmatic projects or solutions, integrated into existing agricultural supply chains, with the aim of having a quantifiable impact on climate transition. 5. Optimizing the pooling of public and private contributions in favor of the development and implementation of agricultural solutions for climate, biodiversity, and ecosystem services. 6. Coordinating collective efforts, means, and knowledge sharing among stakeholders engaged in the supply chains aiming to generate changes in the production chain with a quantifiable impact on the transition, at the scale of the food system, in Switzerland. 7. Ensuring that all initiatives and projects supported by the association are based on scientific validity and are in line with the following international scientific consensus: - Climate: IPCC AR6 WG1-2-3 (2021-2022), IPCC SR15 (2018) - Biodiversity: IPBES Global Assessment Report on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (2019), Millennium Ecosystem Assessment. 8. Promoting transparency in all association activities, towards its members and the public. 9. Creating and managing a public register of ClimaCert indicators and a financing platform for the transition.
